At A Star Is Rising Early Learning Center, we understand that the infant stage is a crucial time for growth, development, and bonding. Our goal is to provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where both infants and their parents feel secure and supported.
To ensure your child’s individual needs are met, we provide each family with an Infant Questionnaire before enrollment. This helps us understand:
✔ Feeding schedules
✔ Daily routines
✔ Comforting techniques tailored to your child
Before your child’s first official day, we encourage pre-enrollment visits, allowing:
Parents and infants to meet their caregiver
A chance to set up your child’s crib and cubby with their personal belongings
Time to develop a trusting relationship with your caregiver
These visits are free of charge and are designed to ensure a smooth, stress-free transition into our program.
Our infant center is carefully structured to prioritize safety, engagement, and age-specific development:
Junior Infant Room (6 weeks – 12 months): Designed to meet the needs of younger infants with appropriate toys and equipment for early development.
Senior Infant Room (12 months – 30 months): Tailored for older infants, providing space for increased mobility and exploration.
This separation ensures that children are learning and developing at their own pace, in an environment best suited to their needs.
We believe learning begins at birth! Our monthly curriculum is designed to stimulate growth and encourage early learning through:
📖 Introduction to literacy – Reading, storytelling, and language development
🎵 Music & sensory activities – Engaging experiences that build cognitive and motor skills
🖐️ Basic sign language – Encouraging early communication skills
🤸 Physical development – Activities that promote movement and coordination
At A Star Is Rising, we provide more than just childcare—we create a foundation for a lifetime of learning.
Feeding Plan - required for infants less than 12 months of age.
